Sunny strawberry plant sale for charity
On Saturday morning, May 6, garden enthusiasts could buy strawberry plants again at ABZ Seeds on the Vleetweg in Andijk.
There was a lot of interest from young and old in this annual sale for charity. The youngest customer immediately enjoyed a delicious strawberry, straight from the hand.
This year, the proceeds of the sale were intended for the purchase of a duo bicycle at Zorgboerderij (care farm) De Tulp in Andijk.
The people of DeTulp were also present to answer questions about the various activities on the care farm. At the end of the morning, the employees of ABZ Seeds were able to hand over a check for € 1,455.
With this wonderful amount, the purchase of the duo bike has come a little closer.
